Yes, you can take your dog out for a coffee in Delhi. Most places that say “pet friendly” mean their garden or outdoor tables, not inside, so pick a cool morning or a mild evening and call ahead. Below are the cafes we could confirm in October 2026, grouped by area.

South and central Delhi

Diggin, Chanakyapuri. The old favourite in Santushti Shopping Complex. Dogs sit with you in the garden, not indoors, and there are resident dogs, so a nervous dog may need a corner table. It’s on Zomato’s list of pet-friendly places. The Anand Lok branch takes dogs only at its outdoor tables, and one recent guide says only on some days, so ask before you go there.

Cafe Dori Bistro, Sunder Nursery. Lunch after a walk in the nursery, which is a lovely morning for a dog on a leash. You pay the nursery’s entry ticket, and the leash has to stay on the whole time. Cafe Dori’s own page marks this branch as the pet-friendly one and talks about a dog menu with “pupcakes”. Ask what’s on it that day.

LoCol by Subko, Lodhi Colony. A small coffee spot in New Khanna Market with outdoor seating that takes dogs. Good for a quick stop after a Lodhi Colony walk.

Cafe Lota, Bhairon Marg. Inside the National Crafts Museum, by Gate 2. Dogs sit outside. There’s no dog menu, but they’ll bring water and the kitchen will make something plain if you ask.

Lha Kitchen, Humayunpur. Tibetan and Nepali food near Safdarjung. Listings disagree on whether the seating is indoor or outdoor, so ask where your dog can sit.

Hauz Khas, GK and Saket

Fika Coffee Co., Hauz Khas Village. Near Deer Park, with indoor, outdoor and rooftop seating. Ask whether dogs are allowed on the rooftop before you climb up.

Blue Tokai, Hauz Khas. Listed as pet friendly, with a small outdoor area. A big dog may find it cramped on a busy weekend. Rules differ between Blue Tokai branches, so this one isn’t a promise for the others.

Agama Cafe, GK 2. Pure vegetarian, in M Block Market. Tagged pet friendly on Zomato and EazyDiner.

Zazu Cafe, GK 3. In the DDA market at Masjid Moth, with indoor and outdoor seating.

ate (Altogether Experimental), Saket and Safdarjung. Outdoor seating, and dog treats have been reported (cakes, biscuits). Ask which branch you’re at, since the two may differ.

Rose Cafe, Malviya Nagar. Near the metro in Eldeco Centre. Listed as pet friendly, but with indoor seating only, so check before you take a big dog.

The Palette, Chhatarpur. In Dhan Mill. Older write-ups mention a dog cake made with carrot and peanut butter and an outdoor area with swings. Recent listings show only indoor seating, so ask what’s there now.

Dwarka

Cafe Uncover, Sector 12. Indoor, outdoor and garden seating, and on Zomato’s pet-friendly list. A 2024 report said it had separate menus for dogs and cats. Ask if they still do.

Dwarka SYD Rooftop Cafe, Sector 12. In Manish Metro Plaza, with rooftop and outdoor seating.

Gone or closed for now

A few names still turn up on older lists but aren’t open as of October 2026: Quick Brown Fox at Dhan Mill and Puppychino in Shahpur Jat show as permanently closed on Zomato, and Maruchi in Lado Sarai shows as temporarily closed.

Before you go

  • Call first. Cafes change their rules, and a quiet Tuesday may be fine when a packed Sunday isn’t.
  • Take a water bowl, a short leash and a mat or towel for your dog to lie on. A tired dog settles better than one fresh out of the car, so walk first, eat after.
  • Summer: early or late only. A Delhi vet quoted by PTI in April 2025 said to walk dogs early in the morning or late in the evening and never to leave a pet in a parked car, even for a few minutes. Hot paving under an outdoor table is the same problem. More in heatstroke in dogs.
  • Winter: watch the air. In December 2025 Delhi vets told PTI they were seeing more breathing and eye problems in pets in the smog, and advised limiting time outdoors (ThePrint). On a bad-air day, keep the outing short.
  • Don’t feed from the table. Onion, garlic, chocolate and grapes are common in cafe food, and the ASPCA lists them all as foods to keep from dogs.
