Most of Hyderabad’s dog-friendly cafes are in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, in old bungalows with gardens and patios where a dog can lie in the shade. Each cafe sets its own rules, and most mean outdoor tables, so call before you go. These are the places we could confirm in October 2026.

Banjara Hills

The Roastery Coffee House, Road No. 14. A bungalow with a yard. Dogs can sit indoors or on the patio, there are water bowls outside, and staff hand out treats.

The Pet Cafe, Banjara Enclave. A cafe built around animals: it lives with rescued pets and runs adoptions, and dogs that visit can meet each other. It says its own animals are vaccinated and the dining and play areas are kept apart. Better for a social dog than a shy one.

Churrolto, Green Valley. Churros opposite GVK Mall, with outdoor seating where dogs are welcome.

Jubilee Hills

Grano, Road No. 63A. Two floors and a deck, indoor and outdoor seating, open late. A favourite with dog owners in the area.

The Hoppery, Durgam Cheruvu. A brewery by the Secret Lake, with a garden. A recent reviewer said staff were good with their dog. The outdoor area has no fans, so go in the evening. Older guides said dogs were allowed only until 6 pm; ask if that still holds.

Le Vantage Cafe Bar, Road No. 13. A shaded patio on several levels with stone floors.

Tiger Lily Bistro, Road No. 10. A shaded courtyard with space for a dog to stretch out on the cool ground. There’s also a Tiger Lily in the Financial District; we only checked the Jubilee Hills one.

Conçu, Road No. 37. The patisserie’s Jubilee Hills outlet has outdoor seating and is listed as pet friendly. One guide says staff bring water bowls without being asked. Conçu has other outlets, so don’t assume they all do the same.

Bel Posto, Road No. 44. Listed as pet friendly on Swiggy Dineout. Ask where dogs can sit.

Madhapur and Kompally

Ironhill Cafe, Madhapur. Behind Pride Honda in Huda Techno Enclave, with outdoor space set aside for pets.

Wild Goat, Kavuri Hills. Listed as pet friendly on Swiggy Dineout. Ask about seating before you go.

Old Trees Cafe, Kompally. Lots of outdoor space and a water bowl at the entrance. A recent reviewer’s dog barked at the kitchen and nobody minded. Carry mosquito repellent for yourself in the evenings.

Before you go

  • Call first. “Pet friendly” on a listing is set by the cafe, and rules change. Ask where your dog can sit and whether there’s a time limit.
  • Take a water bowl, a short leash and a towel for your dog to lie on, and walk your dog first so it settles.
  • Go early or late in summer. Hyderabad’s afternoons are hard on dogs, and stone patios heat up. More in heatstroke in dogs.
  • Don’t feed from the table. Onion, garlic, chocolate and grapes are common in cafe food, and the ASPCA lists them all as foods to keep from dogs.
  • Carry your dog’s papers. GHMC asks for dogs to be licensed. Our Hyderabad dog parks guide has how, and where to walk before your coffee.
